This coil fit the passive crossover perfectly. The end result was a better sound than I thought was possibly from those speakers. Amen to that!

I had been winding my own chokes a long time, and just didn't have time to do this job on my recently purchased Altec woofers. old 422s, they make it up past 7KHz flatly, and I wanted a low reactance bottom choke that would let the old 15s sing up there. These things really get it done-- I have a 3.5 K crossover and there are no surprises. You won't be disappointed.
