A special Jantzen high-temperature baking process bonds the wires throughout the inductor, eliminating the possibility of FM distortion. I have a 4th order Linkwitz-Riley passive crossover project. This air core inductor working excellent. I use a tube preamp and tube PP "class A" power amp to drive the speaker thu this crossover. The high horn speaker sound is clear. The mid-range JBL speaker vocal is REAL and image is well defined. The woofer 10" has power-bass. The vocal sound image is very very good image and real.
