The IR-E1 is a small infrared LED that mounts over the IR window of any electronic component. The self-stick adhesive allows for easy mounting. It contains a visible confirmation LED to let you know when the signal is present. Includes a 6 ft. cord with a 3.5mm plug. Compatible with most IR systems. Flasher measures: .55" W x .30" H.

The description of this part said it had a confirmation LED that flashed when it received a signal This is not the case. It doesn't flash, so if you were hoping to get a flash to help determine that your system is working, you're out of luck.
