Dayton DMPC-0.22 0.22uF 250V Polypropylene Capacitor

I used six of these as coupling caps for on my tube amp and they performs great. I like the higher voltage rating and the cost is much lower than most caps at their quality point. Did they make a SQ difference? I don't know; but I know I got my moneys worth on their purchase. I have used Dayton caps in the past and will use them again.

The Dayton Polypropylene Capacitors are outstanding as part of a tiered power-supply capacitor bypass circuit (i.e., paralleling a bank of electrolytic capacitors with a 20uf, 2.0uf and a 0.22uf film-type capacitor); in most designs, the sonic impact is indistinguishable from an identical power-supply circuit employing high-end bypass capacitors.

However, when the audio signal must pass through an inline capacitor, the very obvious superior transparency afforded by the Jantzen Z-Silver Capacitors simply cannot be overlooked; use the right tools for the job at hand.

These capacitors were just the ticket. They work great. I expect my purchases from Parts Express to be just what I need and they've never let me down.
