Rated 5 out of 5 by from just what I neededI was redoing some older speakers and broke the original guides. I only needed and used the sockets, as the original ball fit into them perfectly. I didn't even need to drill out the cabenit as the socket was exactly same size as the original. They work great!!!! Thank you so much.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent product for the priceI picked up some beat up speakers that had the grill guides broken. Guy tried to super glue them with no success. I found these and replaced all of the guides (both pin and cup). Now the speakers look just like new!I was not able to use the existing cups. These cups have have a lip that catches the pin and that lip is at a different depth than the OEMs. (Thus -.5 stars on Features and Performance.) However, they do hold surprisingly well with just friction. (I started to leave the original cups, then decided to swap everything.)The only real disappointment was with shipping. I paid for first class, and had my shipping downgraded to parcel. I could see through the mailing label to the old one underneath that said first class. It took 6 days for an order to get from Ohio to Michigan. That is unacceptable!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked Well for ApplicationOrdered these guides to repair broken guides on my Proton AI-3000 system speakers. They were not quite the same size as the originals, but I was able to make them work nicely. I would recommend them to someone trying the same repair.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap but cheapWell...this it tough because I love Parts Express and own and have purchased many of their products including building a number of speakers with Dayton's. Anyway, these are cheap and fragile. All of them broke eventually trying to pull the grill from the speakers. They snap in way to tight for their strength. I'll stick with the press fit which I've had no problems with after years of use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Grill Guides Not Just for SpeakersI bought the grill guides to assist in installing a frame around a 62" LCD TV. When I designed the cabinets I allowed room for a 62" LCD screen. The TV filled most of the space but I still had about 1-1/2 all around to fill. So I built a frame of matching wood (horizontal grain rift cut oak). I drilled small wood blocks and nailed them to the adjacent cabinets. I then inserted the "female" end of the grill guide into the small wood blocks (use superglue to make sure they don't pull out), then matched the holes on the frame and inserted the "male" ends. The end result is fabulous. The TV has about 1/2" space all around and looks built-in. I have a happy customer and I'm a hero!
