Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Rca jacksGot these for my Adcom gfa 555 to replace the stock plastic ones that have broken from changing interconnect wires over the years, the new ones fit right in the original holes on the Adcom, all you have to do is solder some short wires from the input board of the Adcom to the new rca's, I had to also slightly trim one of the teflon insulators/ washers so it would fit better as can be seen on the top rca, the rca's are top quality and I highly recommended them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice for the price! Dayton Audio RCA-CHRB Chassis Mount RCA Jack PairGreat connector for the price paid! I'm updating an old amplifier and decided gold plated inputs would be a nice touch. Glad I went with these as they offer great performance and solid value for the money. Can't go wrong with these.

Can i use the same color jacks ( 2 white jacks) to replace red/white jacks on my car amplifier?

Asked by: bo2u2
These have a black and red stripe on them. The white is just an insulator to keep them from shorting on the chassis. The colors are not really important except to tell the difference between channels.

hello.   I need to replace the RCA female, inputs on a pair of McIntosh MC60 vintage tube amps.  I just want to make sure that the connectors are insulated as they will mount directly to the steel chassis.  Do you know if these are the right product?

Asked by: ssrobw
Yes these are insulated for metal chassis mounting.

Insulated for use on a metal cabinet component?

is that what the white around these are around the middle?
Asked by: Anonymous
Yep. In my case, I don't really need it but then the actual dimensions of the cut out for the threaded section isn't really specified. The diameter given on the page assumes you will be using the insulator. It is entirely debateable whether insulation should be used, in general. Grounding is a dark art that frequently defies rational explanation.

Do these fit on the Dayton Audio SBPP-BK Binding Post Plate?

Asked by: Maarten
Yes, they fit that plate just fine.
