Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick way to connect LED lights w/ coaxial power plugThis cable solved my need for a longer than three foot cable that came with my LED under cabinet lights. It plugs into the socket on the fixture allowing a splice connection on the other end. The LED lights are only 3 watts each, no problem for this cable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor cheap designInstead of the two wires insulated separately, one wire is jacketed and the other negative wire is essentially bare. When the cable is stripped you have a long segment of bare wire which required two different sizes of heat shrink insulation to deal with. It would have not been difficult to have each wire individually jacketed, similar to what came with the power source for my Musical Fidelity V-Dac.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It already EXISTS!!I needed several of this connector for a charging station project that I'm building. I found the connector at many vendors but it was over priced and very cheesy. I was pleased as punch to find this cable assembly** at PE for a GREAT price. This item has a cable attached to the connector. That work is already done and it is likely to be more reliable than my work with a poor quality part.Ever onward, ever sideways...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ExcellentI bought this to connect my Musical Fidelity V-DAC to a Pyramid PS 3KK power supply. It is perfect for the task. (For those who are novices like me, the white stripe wire goes to the red terminal.) Incidentally, the Pyramid does improve the already excellent V-DAC, an excellent way of upgrading the sound on a computer or a DVD or CD player. (Again for the novice: you still need an amp; try the Canadian company Purity Audio.) In any case, this little cable is a capable "missing link."

how do you connect the wires to posts on a pyramid psu???

hi all, like many others, i was attracted to the affordable psu upgrade for my v-dac ii. i am not exactly sure how to connect these bare wires to the posts on the pyramid psu. i know, white sleeved wire to red post. but is it simply unscrewing the posts' caps a little and wrapping wire around the post, and then screwing the caps on tightly?any explanation would be greatly appreciated!!!
Asked by: ayres
It will work by just stripping back the wire and tightening the posts of the power supply down, but fork terminals are usually a little cleaner install.
