Is this switch "off" in a center position?

what is the mounting screw spacing, i don't understand the "(14 x 7 mm)"

i need the space between mounting holes, as well as hole diameter thanks

Will this turn on and off a 14.4 volt battery that puts out 1500 mah.

I was told by the hobby shop where I got battery, that a switch would need a 30 amp rating.

Unfortunately I would not recommend this for anything that requires a 30A rating.
