Is this suitable to fuse an electric motor that might have a temporary spike in current?

The description doesn't quite say if it's slow or fast burn.

The supplier does not give that information on these fuses. You could check with "The Install Bay" and ask them directly. 4213 is the part number. High amp fuses are similar to "old school" box fuses used in the 50s'. When they hit the limit, they blow to avoid electric arching and shock hazard. Your motor will fail when the windings overheat & melt the insulation.
