from Versatile Connector for Many Speakon Applications! These NLT4MX connectors are a ideal addition to the soundmans' toolbox. You can use them as so:* Speakon break-outs, from 4pole to 2x 2 pole, for bi-amping or multiple cabinets.* Speakon break-ins, for taking two separate power amp channels into one 4c cable for cleaner layouts. This is similar in convenience to to having a dedicated in/out panel on your amplifier rack. This config can use TS plugs, MDP (Banana), bare wire, spades, or NL4s. Now that's versatility!* Wye adapter. Uses one NLT4MX wired straight through, ±1 and ±2, to split them off to 2 NL4FXs. Tails can be up to a few (6 or so) feet long, or just a few inches. If you need a cable mounted Wye, use all NLT4MXs instead.* Bridge Mono adapter: Take a specially wired NL4FX on one end, typically setup as 1+/2+, to one of these, lets you use your standard ±1 wired NL4-equipped cables.* Two NLT4MXs on a short piece of 14/4 wire that's just a few inches long can be used as a "coupler" to extend.* One NLT4MX on one end, and an NL4FX on the other. This makes a true extension for your speakers. You can lock this onto a standard "Speakon" cable to extend a shorter cable to the right length.* NL4 to 1/4" TS adapter. Let's face it... You've got an old cabinet that you aren't able to add a Speakon jack to. Simply use an NLT4MX, to a TS plug on a short tail of #14/2 wire. Now, you can use your newer Speakon cables with the older cabinets. These connectors solder onto the cable instead of using Pozidrive screws, so keep this in mind. Using a 75/150 watt Weller gun makes this process a snap. Also be careful with your iron/gun, as I've occasionally melted the little notches that the cable grip aligns to.
