Neutrik NL4MP-ST Speakon Connector 4 Pole Panel Mount
Neutrik NL4MP-ST Speakon Connector 4 Pole Panel Mount is rated 4.7143 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soooo Easy But Not Air TightI'm not great at soldering and it seems like these would hold onto a wire better that a Faston blade slipped over the post of a regular NL4 and the like. I've had a problem consistently finding Fastons that hold tightly. Crimping the socket that goes over the blade helps, but this is tricky. If you don't need an air tight seal, these are super !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just as advertisedI ordered these and they sipped next day and I had them by end of the week installed them Saturday and worked great at church on Sunday. Very Pleased.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This would be amazing if they were sealedI bought this product for the ease of use hoping that they would sound okay. However, they leak so much air that they are unusable in any speaker cabinet. Awesome features, but in my case, it did not matter. I had to purchase standard terminal type connectors because they are completely sealed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from On mainsI really appreciate the ease of use that Neutrik designed into these connectors. I use them to take four conductor wire from the crossover and amps to the subs then two conductor to the full range tops. Not having to mess around with soldering is very nice and the reliability is awesome. I've been using these connectors on our sound system for a year now and they never fail. I wouldn't consider anything else.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Quality, Flawed designAlthough these connectors are easy to connect to cable and work perfectly well, there is a slight design fault in my opinion. The flange part is only slightly wider than the main circular part. When the hole is drilled to the correct size to allow the connector to be screwed into a panel, the flange hardly covers the hole. Also, the screw holes are really close to the large drilled hole If the flange was slightly wider, it would make things a bit easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NL4MP-ST Speakon ReviewGreat quality professional connector. Screw terminals work well. Use solder and "tin" your wires before inserting and you'll have excellent connections. I use these on amp rack connection panels and on the speaker cabinets themselves. I've retrofitted all of my old 1/4-inch mains and monitors to use Speak-on. I highly recommend these for ease of installation, change-out, and performance.

Neutrik NL4MP-ST Speakon Connector 4 Pole Panel Mount

will it be possible to connect two 10 awg wires to one pole for the bridge for wiring two jacks in parallel? will the hole be large enough or is there another way to wire two of these in parallel? thanks ;)

Asked by: zaggazow
No, these have a pretty tight fit for a single 12 gauge wire. You will probably have to use the solder type jack if you plan on bridging two together.

i like the design of this connector over the solder style, however my wires are 14/2. Would I be able to use this connector and if so where would i make my connections for 2 wire style?

Asked by: djgenebb
Yes you can use two conductor cable with these. Usually you want to used 1+/1- for a two conductor connection, but you will have to check the output of your amplifier to make sure that is correct.

can these be used as both 1/4" input or speakon? Are all speakon inputs compatable with 1/4" or only specific models?

Asked by: srast
This jack will only accept a speakon connector. In order for it to accept both it will have to be called a combo jack.

Can I use the speakon connector with a 70V wiring system? I have exterior pole mounted speakers and a portable rack. I need to connect the amp to the speakers and want a locking connector.

Asked by: djseibert
Yes these will work fine for that application.

Would it be possible to mount these on a wall plate in a living room?  I'm assuming I'll need to cut my own hole in the plate and mount it on that.  Looking to pre-wire for a REL subwoofer, and want to make it as easy as possible.

Asked by: bsotak
Yes this can be mounted to a wall plate, you will need to drill your own hole for mounting.

Are the machine/mounting screws included with this item?

Asked by: McGuire3210
No, the mounting screws are not included, nor do we carry any hardware small enough to be applicable. The correct screw, bolt, or rivet for this application will be an M3 (3mm) size.
