Neutrik NCJ9FI-S Combo Connector XLR 1/4" Stereo Jack Switching
Why are the pins so thick compare to the one I have on the PC which are realy thin.
The connectors on your board are probably specially made for that application. If these do not fit, you may have to get a connector from the manufacturer of the unit you are trying to replace.

What is the difference between switching and non switching, and which pins do I wire from if I want the same signal fed from either 1/4"TRS, or XLR
What is the difference between switching and non switching, and which pins do I wire from if I want the same signal fed from either 1/4"TRS, or XLR?In other words, do I just put a wire between the 1/4" lead and the corresponding xlr lead, and attach a wire to the device I want to connect those two?
You probably want the un-switching model. I'm not exactly sure why this one was designed this way. (read the mfgr's data sheets). The front page of their product page has a wiring diagram.
