from Great little tweeterThis is a good dome tweeter. It is nice that you can replace the dome if you ever burn it out. For the money this unit is hard to beat. It has a low resonance fairly high efficiency and good dispersion. It is rated 92db with one watt. That is about one db higher than I measure. This tweeter is very smooth and forgiving. If you don't have the best electronics this is a great choice. I does not have the resolution or speed of a ribbon but at it's price it is an excellent choice. I wish Moral would use a cooper flux shorting ring in the unit to flatten out the impedance. Highly recommended

from Really Gooooooood TweeterAssembling a high end system in my Acura MDX required a tweeter that was smaller than my beloved Dynavox TD2801XL. I decided to look at the Morel lineup of tweeters because they're so good. The Morel Supreme ST 728 was considered, but didn't fit the budget. Instead I purchased a pair of ET 448s, as they were less costly (though not cheap), and I liked the reviews I read from other users. While I upgraded the midranges in the front doors, replaced the amplifiers with more powerful versions, added vacuum tubed line buffers and played with many subwoofer configurations before deciding on 4 Titanic MK II subs in isobaric configuration, the ET 448s have gone untouched. Why? Because they are SUPERB sounding! A friend who has been building/selling high end loudspeakers for 35 years listened to my system and the first thing he said was “nice tweeters”. Regardless of how high I crank the volume, the ET 448 never screeches or becomes otherwise abrasive sounding. I have these tweeters crossed in at 3150 Hz at a 24 dB slope. The sound is sweet yet detailed.

from High quality tweeter for dipole configurationThis is a sweet warm tweeter. I used it to convert my mmtmm front speakers to dipole mmttmm. My front speakers consist of 4 focal 5k013l and a raven 2.1 ribbon tweeter. The morel was installed on the back of these speakers in opposite phase. The soundstage is amazing. Although I made all speakers dipole in my 7.2 home theater it wasn't until I made the front speakers dipole that all the sound came together. The morels have a very natural sound to them and although there are few people using them in this configuration I hope it helps you in your project to know what I did.
