Metra 70-5511 Ford Amp Integrator Harness
I have a 1994 ford explorer and want to put a dual model xhd6425 in it but don't have the harness. I also have a dual illuminite bandpass subwoofer to install, will this fit? if not, which one should i get.
In order to install the radio you will need our part number 265-616. If the subwoofer has a built in amplifier it will need its own wiring kit and power from the battery. If it is not powered you will need a separate amplifier to power it, which will need to be wired the same way.

Is the METRA 70-5511 something I could use for a Subwoofer Amplifier installation?
2004 Ford Taurus:I'm thinking I can connect the METRA 70-5511 to the harness coming from the Head-unit/Battery, then split the line: one end to an additional harness for the Factory Amp, and the another line to my Aftermarket AMP (Capacitor). Would this work? Thank you!!
I am not sure what you have in mind, but it doesn't sound like a good idea. If you need power for a subwoofer amp, you should go directly to the battery and use one of the switched wires from the vehicle for the turn on lead. This harness is to add an aftermarket radio to the vehicle. If you have an aftermarket radio, you have an amp turn on lead coming from that. If you are using the factory radio, this harness won't help you in any way. Tell us more about what it is you are using and we can probably give you more specific instruction on how to make the connections you need.
