Marinco 12VPG 12 VDC Plug
These 12 volt receptacles and plugs are manufactured from corrosion resistant marine grade materials. Exclusive to Marinco is the unique Sealink interconnecting system that securely locks the plugs into the receptacle resulting in a positive and moisture proof connection. Perfect for boats, which vibrate and bounce due to rough water. Simply line up the tabs on the Sealink plug with the arrows on the receptacle and press the plug into the receptacle until it seats. The plug is locked into place. To remove the plug, just rotate it 20 degrees and pull out. Receptacle features a watertight sealing cap, and is easy to install. Use the supplied mounting plate for the front panel installation, or the locking ring also supplied for rear installation. Plug features a moisture proof sealing ring and cord seal, interchangeable 10 amp fuse, and LED which indicates power. Both plug and receptacle will work with any standard 12V equipment, however the Sealink system will only work when Sealink plugs and receptacles are used together. Marinco has a 5 year warranty and products are made in the USA.

Marinco 12VPG 12 VDC Plug
Marinco 12VPG 12 VDC Plug is rated 3.25 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Replaced Coleman Refrigerator PlugPlug on refrigerator melted - - we'll see if it was a refrigerator problem or plug connection problem. Attaching plug to wire was a little bit time consuming. First tried tinning the wires to make them less flexible when inserting them into the connector - - didn't work - - the screws sheared the wires. After that try it went together pretty well - - but did need to add insulation where positive wire lead would lay on the negative part of the plug. (The negative part of the plug had some insulation in the area where the + wire crossed it, but my actions wore away most of it.) I just used a small amount of silicone - - let it dry some - - then finished the fix.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice but fiddly to wire...The plug is constructed from good materials - but eiring it up is awkward - the sprung connections for the wire shave small screws - so for larger capacity you'd need to solder. The exact length of the wires is very important - the 2 connection are very close together and are very hard to fit back inside the shell (you need 3 hands). Seems like the wiring design could have been made easier. Once together its a very nice plug with a very easy fuse change and nice lockihg action into the mating Marinco female.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Product Failed When UsedI used this product for a boating application with a washdown pump. The pump was rated for 6 Amps and the fuse in the Plug was a 10 amp fuse. The size of the connections in the Plug were too small for the proper gauge size of wire for a 10 Amp rating. I was worried but tried it anyway and the spring that keeps tension on the fuse heated so much that the plastic around it melted. The fuse didn't blow but the solder in it melted and caused the circuit to disconnect. Not a well made Plug.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great upgradeI bought a couple of the Marinco receptacles and plugs to install in the cargo area of my truck. I have an Engel refrigerator, and using the locking receptacle and matching plug, the 'fridge stays plugged in snug regardless of the rough terrain. The plugs have a built-in 10a fuse as well. The only reason I graded down on value is PE has their own private label version which is cheaper, and I'm sure just as good. I couldn't wait for those to restock, so I bought the Marinco version.
