Lanzar HTG237 Heritage 1000 Watt 2-Channel Amplifier
Lanzar HTG237 Heritage 1000 Watt 2-Channel Amplifier is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really powerful! This is probably one of the best deals on amplifiers out there. I am using it for a portable mono system. It maxes out at about 225 usable watts I would say based on the fuse rating plus the distortion. It is easy to use. Only part I could not figure out is how to put the speakers in bridged mode. On the diagram on the bottom of the amp it says it in small letters. I wish the instruction manual was only for this amp, not 5 other ones as well. Common' lanzer it can't be that expensive to print one extra instruction manual! I would say the price is a little high compared to others, but it equals out if you buy other stuff so you go over the $100 free shipping mark plus ten dollars off! I Recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lanzar HTG237 Heritage 1000Well, first off it's not a 1000 watts, but it is an honest quality 125 watts RMS, and almost double that into 2 ohms.So there's the qualifications, however; for what you'll pay this thing performs very well and is a huge bargain. Less than $0.50/watt per channel and that's amazing.Variable bass cut off, and boost, as well as gain.I bought it for my Motorhome but it's serious overkill, like driving a thumb tack with a sledge hammer. But if you need 140 db then perhaps this amplifier is what you need. But remember that even though it doesn't see that loud it's destroying your eardrums.Still it's a whole lot of watts for the money.Would I recommend? Oh yeah, I think I'm going to pick up another one for some subs I have laying around and put them in my daughters car.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A lot of wow for a little money!I ordered this amp for a friend on a tight budget and all I can say is, WOW!He installed it pretty quickly and it works great! Runs pretty cool at high volume and doesn't seem too power hungry. The added bonus of the built in high and low pass filters is nice. You don't need external crossovers!Great buy, great price! Thanks PE!

When bridged will this be enough to power a 300 watt 4 ohm sub?

Asked by: btschwaz
They only show maximum output power at 4 ohms in bridged mode, however I see no reason this will not work fine for a 300 watt subwoofer.

how many rms watts does this put out bridged?

i'm guessing since this amp says 1,000w peak power @ 4 ohm's bridged it's rms power is around 450 to 500wrms into 4 ohm'sis that right?
Asked by: bobb1234
Based on the RMS power per channel at 2 ohms I would say the RMS power bridged at 4 ohms is ~450 watts.

Low Pass

Does this have a built in high pass below 20 Hz to prevent cone over excursion? If not is the adjustable high pass able to go that low?
Asked by: kctess51
Yes. 50-250Hz; not a sub woofer amp per se...

how much power do i need to power this?

I want to power it in my home But need to find a DC power supply for it i
Asked by: Navi
You would need a 12v supply capable of 25-30 amps continuous output. This amp should be acceptable for mono sub-bass use, but with 65dB channel separation, it isnt going to sound the best for fullrange stereo usage, indoor anyway.
