Kinter MA-500 4-Channel Mini Amplifier with Remote USB MP3 Media Card FM 4x30W
Kinter MA-500 4-Channel Mini Amplifier with Remote USB MP3 Media Card FM 4x30W is rated 2.9231 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from high pitch tone that comes and goes. Not much power to it but for a garage amp for my sat radio it's ok. It's cheap so I guess I got what I paid for. Also has a high pitch wine that comes and goes depending on volume.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I really wanted to like thisI bought this to use in a wood working shop to have some music. All the features do work. The card reader and USB port play the MP3s that I have. The radio receiver does work, though it's not that powerful. Since I'm not out doors and have metal walls around me, I didn't think it would work. This unit's biggest problem is how it picks up electrical impulses around it. There is a constant whine and hum when it is used. The best way to avoid that is to have very loud music playing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Kinter MA-500I bought this last summer planning on making a portable system and over time got bored with the project and quit. I forgot to bring it in and got taken for a round in Nebraska weather, the other day i found it in the garage and i tried hooking it up and it works still! The volume led was out of sync but other wise still worked fine. A few issues i have with this amp is the hum and whine you can hear when at low volumes. It makes a high pitched whine whenever the light color changes but that can be easily fixed by cutting the light wires. Also the FM doesn't hardly work. Other than the flaws I look forward to making my portable system and using it on the Detassling and Rouging bus this summer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Noise present all the time.Ok. so I took a flyer and bought this cheesy little amp hoping it would sound ok as a work bench radio/MP3 player. Hooked it up to a pair of Dayton 652's and it sounded great, but the FM reception was pretty noisy. Then I started to notice the high pitched cyclic whine coming from both speakers. Tried different power supplies to no avail. Then I noticed that the whine was cycling with the LEDs that lit up the volume and tone controls. Took the unit apart and cut out the LEDs, put some heat sink compound on the PA transistors and tightened up the antenna connection. Put the unit back together and "voila!" no more whine, FM reception is great now. Sound is really very good except for a very low [barely noticeable] motorboat ticking. But, with any volume at all you'll never notice it. So, with a little work I went from quite disappointed to quite happy with this product. I would recommend this product to someone who is not afraid to fix it up. Otherwise, pass on it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It has a problemI purchased this amp because it had all the features I needed. After installing it I find that it is plagued with AC type hum and other noises with the volume all the way down. I have tried many power supplies but no luck. The problem exists even when run on battery with no AC in the area. Very disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Probably good ampI have not found a power supply that does not cause 60 hz noise through speakers,my fault for not reading that it does not come with power supply,I have never had any bad product from parts Express,I think they should at least give you the part number for the correct power supply.

Kinter MA-500 4-Channel Mini Amplifier with Remote USB MP3 Media Card FM 4x30W

Does this product have a way to control the volume of A, and volume of B seperately? Old man

Asked by: jfwskw
Not from the amp but possibly through the source that you are using as the input. There is no balance control or separate volume control on the amp.

Do the vol +/- keys on the remote also control the AUX volume? On some amps like Lepai A68, the remote only controls FM & USB vols. I want to use this with a TV with fixed line level output, without touching the amp knobs.

Asked by: aporter
Yes the volume controls on the remote will control all inputs.

What kind of power adapter is needed for car operation

Asked by: tigsgirls
There is no adapter required for a car application, you just need to supply 12 volts to the amp from a power source in the vehicle. You can use a pig tail like below for this.http://www.parts-express.com/parts-express-21mm-x-55mm-x-112mm-dc-plug-with-6-ft-cord--090-489

Random play?  Does it remember where you were on the flash drive when you turned it off?  Do songs need to be in the root, or can they be organized into folders?  Can you hop directly to a folder or song #?

Asked by: Eric Jan Miller
The USB / SD/MMC audio files should be in raw form without folders.
