KICKER's PX Series PX200.1 amplifier provides powersports enthusiasts with a high-power, low-draw amplifier solution for the open-air listening environment, and in a tidy little chassis smaller than a brick, and is specifically designed for motorized vehicles with small batteries and current-limited charging systems.
An incredibly small footprint (only two inches high and 3-1/2 inches wide) means that it can be installed in motorcycle saddle bags or fairings, glove compartments, and other previously unusable spaces. Its uncanny coolness during operation is mostly due to a KICKER first – Direct Amp Technology™. The amp uses the vehicle's charging system as its power supply for amazing 90% efficiency.
The PX200.1 monoblock amplifier creates up to 200 watts into a 0.5 ohm load at 14.4 VDC, and is great for use with motorcycles, UTVs, boats, golf carts, ATVs, snowmobiles, tractors... even hot rods! Pair with KICKER speakers for an audio system that weekend warriors have been seeking for years. Signal can be sent to the amplifier via speaker-level (high-level) or pre-amp level (low-level) connections, and the PX200.1 also includes a fixed 24 dB/octave 40 Hz subsonic filter, a selectable 100/250 Hz 24 dB/octave low-pass filter, and a selectable 6 dB bass boost centered at 60 Hz.
Made for the outdoors, this amp is weather-resistant. A conformal-coated circuit board provides extra protection against the elements, and includes no-rust, stainless-steel mounting hardware. A single Molex plug contains all wiring connections.
