Kenwood KFC-W3013PS Performance Series 12" 1200W Subwoofer
Sealed or ported? I have a 2.2ft3 box with an amplifier capable of meeting this woofers RMS. What is the tuning frequency and port size for maximum volume output? Thanks
In that volume I would recommend staying sealed with relatively heavy fill. It should reach into the upper 20's pretty easily and handle a good amount of power without excursion issues.

if I put it in a small box what is it going to do to the sound? I know its not good for it but i'm short on space.
A smaller box will take a little away from the bottom end this sub will play. It will however keep cone excursion under control better, so technically the sub will handle its power better.

How does this compare to your dayton line what would you most compare it to?
The closest thing I would compare this to in the Dayton line would be the SD315A-88 or DCS305-4.

is this subwoofer good for a sealed box?
Yes this will work very well in a sealed box. I would recommend between 1.25 and 1.75 cubic feet for the best results.
