JJ GZ34 / 5AR4 Vacuum Tube
JJ GZ34 / 5AR4 Vacuum Tube is rated 3.6667 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, but....This tube is about 3/8" taller than the old one it's replacing. I couldn't fit my HH Scott 299 amplifier back in its case using this tube.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks and sounds great in my ampFirst one I received was damaged in shipping. Second one works perfect. Seems to have a little more umph in the bass over the stock 5AR4 I had. Nice looking too!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from excellent choice for a 1967 Fender Super ReverbI had 2 rectifier tubes on hand. 1 was a Mullard that I took out recently that was in the amp since 1970, the original rectifier. The other was an original RCA which I believe was made by Mullard was in the amp from 1967 to 1970. Both tested very good on the tube tester. I run Tungsol KT66. The old rectifiers seemed fine, but with the hype about power sag, I was courious. At first I could not tell the difference from any of the tubes. After about 20 swap outs, the JJ was slightly tighter in the bass and the amp seemed slightly more harmonic.
