Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked really good for what I needed it for!I got this item to replace an opener that was part of a Pace Edwards PowerGate unit that locks my pickup truck tailgate. It looked the same and after comparing the two it was exactly the same unit. After replacing the bad one this unit worked fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice productVery cool product to add power lock to my 2006 Tundra doors. The shipment came in a few days and it had all mounting hardware. No insturctions but there are many Yuotube vidoes on how to install.I'm very pleased with the product and the service from Parts Express

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong cheap actuatorInstalled these over a year ago to make my own Keyless Entry. My truck did not have power doorlocks, but with these and a few relays(also from Parts Express) I was able to install these along with a Remote Starter kit. They are very powerful and have held up well so far through two winters. They were easy to install and work very well and are incredibly low cost.

High Power Door Lock Actuator 2 Wire

Can these be installed on vehicals with no electric locks previously installed?

Asked by: Waddie
I would suspect so, but you'd need to create the mechanical mechanisms to the door lock and also wire and add switches to activate. I installed the actuator with additional hardware to build a tailgate lock where no lock previously existed at all on a truck. The truck already had power door locks, and I wired the actuator into that existing wiring. You would have to create your own wiring and add switches if there are no power door switches at all.

What is the current draw of this actuator when activated?

Asked by: NeonNick
The draw load would depend on the resistance of the load. The actual resistance in locking or unlocking the doors would determine the current draw.

Re door lock actuator part # 330 010. I'm looking at using this part in a production run that would start out in the dozens and could go much higher. Is there a price break for larger quantity say case lot? Will they be around for the long haul?

Rplacement

Can these units be used to replace OEM door lock actuators on a 1989 Dodge Ramcharger
Asked by: fatbob
Unfortunately, we do not have a cross-reference for vehicles that this unit will (or will not) fit. It is designed to be applicable to as many different vehicles as possible, and it is the only one we carry.
