High Power Door Lock Actuator 2 Wire
Can these be installed on vehicals with no electric locks previously installed?
I would suspect so, but you'd need to create the mechanical mechanisms to the door lock and also wire and add switches to activate. I installed the actuator with additional hardware to build a tailgate lock where no lock previously existed at all on a truck. The truck already had power door locks, and I wired the actuator into that existing wiring. You would have to create your own wiring and add switches if there are no power door switches at all.

What is the current draw of this actuator when activated?
The draw load would depend on the resistance of the load. The actual resistance in locking or unlocking the doors would determine the current draw.

Re door lock actuator part # 330 010. I'm looking at using this part in a production run that would start out in the dozens and could go much higher. Is there a price break for larger quantity say case lot? Will they be around for the long haul?

Can these units be used to replace OEM door lock actuators on a 1989 Dodge Ramcharger
Unfortunately, we do not have a cross-reference for vehicles that this unit will (or will not) fit. It is designed to be applicable to as many different vehicles as possible, and it is the only one we carry.
