HDMI Super Slim 4x2 True Matrix IR Compatible
Is the TOSLINK on the back an output? If so Which Audio signal will it output? The signal from Output A, the one from Output B or is there a way to switch between ?
The Toslink and RCA connections are outputs and are tied into the HDMI 1 output.

I have a wall mounted TV with 1 HDMI cable running from it, through my wall, to my media cabinet (plugged into my cable box). Would this product allow me to use both my cable box and a blu-ray player with just the one HDMI cord from the TV?

Can it pass 3D video + DTS-HD audio at same time connected to 2 devices
I want to split a 3D video signal into video and audio.Video will go to a 3D projector and audio will go to a receiver that is HDMI 1.3.I bought a switch for another vendor and it could not output this at the same time. It takes a common denominator approach and defaults to HDMI 1.3 and I loss 3D video. If this switch can do that it would suffice my need.
HDMI is a consolidated cable that carries digital audio and video separately. They are never combined. Any quality HDMI cable will pass any version of surround sound and HD or 3D video formats. If you want to split output - the usual solution is to feed the projector HDMI and then take optical out to the audio preamp. Optionally, you can run RGB to the projector. It equals the quality of HDMI - however HDMI is easier on many levels. Hope this helps.
