from Broke two in less than 24 hoursI bought four of these out of the "related products" sidebar for a Dayton Audio 15" Ultimax Subwoofer and Cabinet Package. They seemed sturdy enough at first, but on the second time clamping I broke one with light pressure - the stationary plastic end piece snapped. The piece was already glued so I had to quickly run out and buy a much more expensive replacement at the hardware store. I didn't think much of it, sometimes cast plastic breaks, it was cheap, etc., so... I glued another panel the next day and had my daughter helping me, and she broke another one of these in exactly the same way. My daughter is twelve years old and not strong at all.I don't think these are very good quality, and I won't be using them again unless I can find better replacement stationary clamps for the ends. The plastic supports are much thicker on the sliding trigger end and didn't seem at risk of breaking, but I didn't get much use out of them so I can't say for sure. The trigger action and release were fine.
