from People are crazy, these things are great!I don't know what people are talking about, but these things work fantastically. I am currently using them to build my TriTrix kit, and out of 4 I have broken 0. I don't know if people realize this, but you DO NOT have to ratchet down on speaker boxes when waiting for glue to dry. Could I break one of these things, absolutely. Does it hold as much as my more expensive one, nope. However, like I said, it doesn't take much to hold a box together while the glue dries, specially if you are screwing it in at the same time. I will usually glue the piece, get it lined up and clamp it down, realign if necessary, wait a couple (5-10 minutes) for the glue to start setting up, then screw it down anyways, let it set another 10-15 minutes, and move on to the next piece. For literally 1/10th of the price of buying one local, I would have to go through quite a few (10, actually) to spend as much as a more expensive one, that still has no guarantee that it won't break if you are using them that hard.

from Great Clamp for the PriceI bought these thinking that they may fall apart based on the last review. But I thought for under 5.00 it was worth the risk. I found that they worked fine for holding a Classix II together while the glue dried. I would not treat these rough as I dont think they would take it. But they worked fine in holding a medium sized bookshelf speaker cabinet together. I would recommend to any hobbiest who is using them for speaker projects. If you plan on using the clamps like a pro then you should pony up the extra money for top tier clamps.

from JunkI used one of the six clamps I bought and it broke on the first clamping. Have not used the other clamps and likely won't. They are no match for other clamps that look like these but cost more. So there you have again, you get what you pay for. Do NOT waste your money on these.
