Gorilla Glue 8 oz. Bottle

Gorilla Glue is a versatile, interior/exterior adhesive ideal for most household fixes and building projects: furniture repair, crafts, woodworking, project assembly, general repairs around the house, and let's not forget speaker building projects. Use Gorilla Glue to bond wood, stone, metal, ceramic, brick, foam board, fiberglass, and much, much more. It is 100% waterproof and can be used indoors and out. Once it is cured, it is unaffected by changes in temperature, and will not breakdown when exposed to rain or snow. Being a pure polyurethane glue it is strong and versatile. It contains no additives or solvents which provides a much stronger bond and allows different materials to be glued together. Gorilla Glue is the perfect glue for any woodworker. When it dries it leaves an invisible glue line that can be painted or stained. As an added bonus it will not gum up sandpaper or dull cutting tools. It is completely non-toxic when cured and is free from solvents and fillers. Gorilla Glue contains no carcinogens and does not release fumes in its liquid state or when dry.

Specifications: • Waterproof: 100%, passes ANSI/HPVA HP-I-2000 Types 1 and 2 (waterproof) • Working time: 20 minutes • Acidic level: Neutral pH • Operating temperature: 40 - 130°F.

Gorilla Glue 8 oz. Bottle
Gorilla Glue 8 oz. Bottle is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the best MDF GLUE ever made !This is simply the finest MDF or wood glue ever made. Period. You have to know how to use it, however, as it does take a wet surface to work the best, and it does expand when it is curing, and if you get any on your skin, it its thee until it wears off, and if you get any on your clothes or anything cloth, you might as well throw it away. But this stuff will expand and fill any gaps, so use sparingly and wear latex gloves or something, and you will be thrilled. The MDF or plywood will break before the joint that was glued will. And use clamps, because this glue does expand, and will move the wood. Anyway, I love the stuff..

Best glue to build back loaded horn cabinet?

Hi, i see you have a wide range of glues but i dont know which one work well with my BLH box.Can you pls let me know?
Asked by: theanhngn
The type of glue you want to use depends on the material the box will be constructed with. If you are using birch ply or MDF, standard Titebond II will be the best option. Gorrilla glue will work but it is very messy for this application and requires moisture for the bond to work which is not good for a lot of wood materials.

Speaker rebuilding?

Is this glue good enough to withstand rebuilding of a subwoofer? Not a drop in kit but everything seperate? Spider to coil, cone to coil and then rest of the parts to frame?
Asked by: Jamjar
I used to do subwoofer repairs. We found that Gorilla glue does work, but expands as it dries and doesn't turn out exactly like you want it to. I found the best method is to use superglue and a liquid accelerator to harden it. For areas around the spider to cone and voice coil to cone, use gauze tape first to cover the gap, then saturate it with super glue. Works like a charm!! This is also a good fix for cones that have rips in them - put the gauze on the back and saturate. A good flexible glue is shoe goo. it's great stuff for attaching the surround to the frame, etc.
