Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT quality for a good price!I bought 2 of these boxes 2 years ago to use with JL Audio W1v2-4 12" woofers behind the seat in my old 1976 Ford truck. They are of solid construction with sealed joints. The binding posts are high quality. After hard hitting bass for 2 years, the boxes are still airtight and solid. I just bought 2 more for my son to put his JL Audio W1v2-4 12" woofers in his Trans-Am. I would highly recommend these boxes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just what I wanted!I own a 2005 Jeep wrangler unlimited with about 32" wide trunkspace and with the old box I had it took up all of that and the back seat couldn't go down and after installing these I still have 15" with and all the rest for storage and now I can put the back seat down. A++ for what I want!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Acoustically and electrically great. Quality ok.The cabinet is solid and the electrical connections are great. I would like to have already had a handle installed since with a sub installed the unit weighs 40 lbs. I was able to find a decent handle at the hardware store. My only real disappointment is where the carpet edges are glued together. They are cut and glued such that multiple points come together on the side and the points are already lifting up making it easy to see the separate pieces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my DIYMA R12Cheap, small and well-built. It's perfect for my DIYMA R12, but you need 1cu. ft of stuffing. Before stuffing it wasn't loud at all. Afterwards it was simply amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well built, cheap subwoofer enclosureI picked this up on sale for $30 shipped. For the money, its an excellent enclosure. Very sturdy and well built. Cheaper than building one!

Can this work in a home theater application?

Part #: 260-638Which driver and amp would be best to match with this for a small (2500 cubic feet) home theater system?
Asked by: Tritone7337
I imagine you can use this box in a home theater application. However, unless you are needing this narrow box to fit behind a couch, entertainment system, or something; I would recommend using the larger sealed box for a deeper sound. If you are trying to save bucks and don't care that it's carpeted, I would recommend Goldwood TR12S 12" Single Sealed Box Speaker Cabinet, Part #260-644 instead. However, if you need to use this box, try to select a woofer with a low Vas and a Q of .3-.4 range. What amp you use will depend on how loud you are wanting it to be, what woofer you choose, etc. You are most likely going to have to deal with a mid or upper-bass hump in the response because of the small box unless you cross it over fairly low (i.e. 60-80 Hz). Be sure to check the woofer depth to make sure it'll fit in the box.I have used the box you are asking about in my son's pick-up behind the seat with JL Audio W1 12" woofers. They produced a nice, tight sound in the cab. That's what it is designed for. I'm sure they wouldn't sound the same in the house. I hope my comments are helpful. Good luck!

Would this box fit a KFC-W3013PS ?

Asked by: Presh13
I would say no. The speaker has a top mount depth of 6.25 and the box is only 7" deep at the top. That means a slope from 5.75 to 6.75 and unless you want to make some sort of shim for the driver the cabinet isn't deep enough. Add that to the recommended enclosure volume being a half cubic foot bigger than this box and it isn't looking good.

will this box fit in a 2007 sport trac behind the backseats??

Asked by: forrest
The dimensions for the box are listed in the product description. Aside from this information, I'm afraid we don't have any kind of cross-reference as to what vehicles our boxes will (or will not) fit into. I would suggest measuring the space you have available, and comparing it to the dimensions listed for the product.
