Rated 3 out of 5by Tandrel from You get what you pay forI had a little bit of change in my Paypal and I decided to buy these and run them off of 30w rms from an OS Sony amp I had sitting around. These sounded very harsh for the 1 week that they lasted. I have a feeling these weren't ever tested to their 50w claim because they sounded bad and blew pretty quickly. The signal these were receiving was at least mostly clean because I never max out my head unit and have never blown another speaker before. Date published: 2013-09-24
Rated 4 out of 5by Natchezclaiborne from Igloo ProjectI was requested to build a portable music player by my club for tailgate parties. What better way than to start with an old ice chest. The Goldwood tweeters fit perfect on the front of the ice chest right above the Pyle Hydra 6X9's. Two Pioneer 10 inch subs fit on each side of the chest. Notice the XTC foam baffles!. All powered by the 4 channel Sony slim line series car amp. Power Acoustik equalizer with sub crossover and Elipson gauges. I installed a 12 volt 12 ah dry cell battery. The charge is good for about 4 hours. The Goldwood tweeters DID come with crossovers. I could not tell the crossover frequency because they were covered with heat shrink tubing inline on the positive (red) wire. My best guess after using an audio generator is that they cross about 3800 Hz. Date published: 2011-10-10

Rated 2 out of 5by Jay - 00766 from lesson learnedI do a lot of installs and wanted to try some cheapo tweets that i could reccomend to others. I tried these out and words cant express how poor they sounded. I thought mabye i was crossing them over too low but they stunk all the way up to 7KHz (18dB rolloff). Finally I blew one. Bought some buyout tweets afterward for 25 cents each that are way better! Date published: 2013-09-24
