Goldwood GM-600PB 1" Horn 1-3/8"-18 TPI
Goldwood GM-600PB 1" Horn 1-3/8"-18 TPI is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Goldwood GM-600PB 1Good horn for the price. Nice and sturdy and nice dispersion - No Rattle and No Vibration. I bought two to use in my monitor cabinets with 2 Pyle PDS221 Horn Drivers... matched with 2 Selenium 12PW3-SLF 12" Speaker Drivers. The combination of these components is absolute perfection! Played some Pink Floyd Animals through the system to test and found my love. No regrets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Horn for the MoneyA long time back I had a pair of horns just like these made of cast aluminum and after dampening them down to get the resonant frequencies stable they were a Great little pair of horns.I built them into stand-alone boxes and eventually sold them (later wished I hadn't). For years I seached for a similar horn and settled on these.Although they are Plastic, the boss is heavier than most plastic horns and if you choose to mount a heavy driver on them it is best support the horn near the boss.I'm currently using them with the Goldwood 550 series driver and it's quite large and heavy and I've had no problems with the combiation. Sounds very smooth crossed at 2.5khz and up even at high SPL's

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent value for the moneyThese are great horns for the money. I bought them for a set of home made PA speakers. They have a heavier duty threaded boss than the ones I had previously. I went ahead and beefed them up a little more with fiberglass since my drivers are so heavy, (that's what broke my old ones). My drivers are a little over 2 lbs. each. For about $11 each including shipping and a little glass, I've got a very durable set of horns. They may have been fine without the fiberglass reinforcement, but I figured it was just good insurance.

Goldwood GM-600PB 1" Horn 1-3/8"-18 TPI

Can I use the GM-600PB for the GT-400CD and GM-500CD and wire them in parallel, driving them with an automotive 50 watt amp per side?

Asked by: Semispoter
Yes, although you will want to have a high pass filter on the GM-500 and a resistor on the piezo for protection. I would recommend a 5kHz high pass for the driver and 20 watt, 20 ohm resistor for the piezo.
