Goldwood GM-35 5" Cone Midrange is rated 4.3636 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Drop in replacement for fisher SVT-751REVIEW: I bought 2 of these along with the Goldwood GT-25 and they sound great together! AFTER A FEW DAYS TO BREAK IN the mids are loud and clear (i have then crossed at 3kHz) Before they break in they will sound dull and weak but as i said, once the break in they sound great! mid notes in music are always heard and bits like percussion instruments, vocals and general sounds in music are nice and clear as well.I Have about 75W going into them at peak power and no hints of distortion.LOOKS: They don't look anything special with an all black paper cone and black dust cap.FINAL THOUGHTS: if your looking for a cheap drop in replacement then this is a great choice, but if high power (say 100W and up) and/or good fancy looks is your need then this would not be for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit for an old 1960s Truetone console cabineI used these speakers to replace the decayed old paper speakers in a 1960s Truetone console stereo. They fit perfectly without having to drill new mounting holes! I was very impressed. Sound is good for my needs (AM/FM/Phono). Would definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice, cheap midrangeStopped in a pawn shop a couple weeks ago and found a pair of 3-way cabinets for 25 bucks. I opened them up and found the woofer surrounds completely rotted and the mids sounded pretty bad and the tweets were cone type, which i dont prefer. I bought 2 GRS 10PF-8's for the woofers and these goldwood mids along with some buyout 1/2" mylar dome tweets for a buck a piece. The mids are in a bandpass of 800-6400 hz and they really make the speaker. Voices are clear and piano sounds excellent but on certain types of music they can be a little out of balance and i know the frequency response of these speakers is nowhere near flat. To power them i have a pioneer vsx 821-k. Overall im happy with these mids for the price and I would definitely consider them for other speaker builds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great MidrangeMy towers in my setup had some midrange drivers that went out along with the tweeter, which I also bought the Goldwood replacement for. Installed the Goldwoods and it sounds better than before. Thanks parts express.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Goldwood GM - 35 5" midrangeBought 2 to replace the disintegrating originals in my 1982 JBL cabinets. I had already replaced the 12" woofers with units from Parts Express. These cone midranges are a great value - can't beat the price !! In my application, these provide quite a bit more high - mid than the originals, enough that I needed to adjust my EQ. Choose Parts Express - can't beat the selection, service and price !

Goldwood GM-35 5" Cone Midrange

Spec's are different on here compared to the catalog. Can you verify which frequency response is correct? Catalog states 1,500-10,000 hz but you have 600-15,000 hz listed here.

Asked by: Hines57
The catalog is correct and the website will be corrected. Thank you!
