Product Details

G&H RF2P Rightfoot Plug 1/4" Mono Connector
The RightFoot eliminates many of the common problems found with the standard right angle plug. Users no longer have to struggle with soldering to the large steel plate or with keeping the screws from cross-threading (assuming that there were mating threads to begin with). When plugged in, the RightFoot does not cover up the jacks on either side and it does not loosen up and cause snap, crackle or popping sounds reminiscent of those made by a popular breakfast cereal. Made in the U.S.A.

G&H RF2P Rightfoot Plug 1/4" Mono Connector
G&H RF2P Rightfoot Plug 1/4" Mono Connector is rated 3.8333 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from effective 90 degreeVery similar in profile and size to the Switchcraft 226. Can not tell if one will work better than the other. Both feel hefty and secure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No problems, nice compact designThese work fine for my pedal board (8 pedals). I've soldered and resoldered (changed board layout, and duh, remember to put the threaded barrel on wire *before* 2nd plug) and they hold up well. Make sure you are not shorting the inner black sheath against the hot tip joint, if you have that kind of wire - signal loss for sure that way. Mine are great, using Canare or other high-quality cable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looking for an alternativeI had a similar experience to Mr Sands. I have purchased a number of batches of these jacks. Some have been difficult to solder on, others have been great. I was getting a partial short on a number of them. I found that by bending the pin that you solder the tip to down a bit, this seemed to clear up my issue. I still don't trust my cables with this connector.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tremendous Signal Loss!I had really high hopes for these angle plugs. Their construction is very solid. HOWEVER, I may have gotten a bad batch: there was a tremendous signal loss. And while troubleshooting (I figured it could also be a cold solder or solder flowing into the wrong places--but neither was the case), I noticed that when the sleeve was off, I could move the ground arm down and the signal would drop even more. There is clearly something wrong with the internal insulation of this plug. Maybe I got a bad batch? The straight G&H plugs are fine, but these dropped my signal by 14-20db! I'm sending these back and going with the Nuetrik.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great plugs!I got tired of using cheap cables with crappy ends, so I ordered a bunch of these and made my own with a spool of proco 120sx cable. These ends are very high quality, and plug in very solid compared to most others, which usually feel a bit mushy. These are solder only, so if you don't know how to solder, it will be a good time to learn
