Fourjay SDT4K-RE8 8" Ceiling Speaker Assembly with Volume Control
What kind of wire do I need to connect these
I use this wire as my default wire for all installations.http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=101-227There's the link.Very good wire, well protected, good price point. Especially versus the nerdy monster wire crowd. Check this link.http://www.google.com/#hl=en&sclient=psy-ab&q=monster+wire+worth+it&oq=monster+wire+worth+it&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&gs_l=hp.12...0l0l4l1526l0l0l0l0l0l0l0l0ll0l0.frgbld.&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.,cf.osb&fp=dcfb21c058468efb&biw=1152&bih=715It's a google query for "monster wire worth it".I do home theater installations on a regular basis.I use this wire because of the aforementioned reasons. The speakers referred to in this question are rated at 4 watts, so you could probably get away with 18 gauge wire also. Here's a link.http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?PartNumber=100-712And to wrap this up, I prefer a closed back speaker forwhole house or 5.1. Dayton makes a good closed back ceiling speaker for a great price. Used it for 5.1 and whole house with very good results. Here's a link.Really good speaker for the price.http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=300-417%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20&FTR=300-417&CFID=28347408&CFTOKEN=57952805Take care,Jimmy
