Please inform the CORRECT value for the DCR so that I can compute a third order 18 db bessel filter @ 3500 Hz. The manufacturer's listed DCR rating of 0.02 ohms is WAY out of reality! I seriously doubt that. I need accurate data please.
The DCR is accurate due to the design of the tweeter. At 3,500 Hz the DCR is 5 ohms flat up to beyond 20kHz.

I would like to use an electronic active crossover @ 5000 Hz for this tweeeter. For safety, I would like to install a passive filter that would eliminate frequencies below 4000 Hz from reaching the tweerer. What value of coils and caps should I use.
I would recommend a 4 uF cap and 0.4 mH coil for a second order crossover at 4kHz.

How durable are these tweeters? I would like to put them in some 3 way towers that I have, but they are in my garage, subject to heat and cold. Upgrading some cheap speakers I picked up at a thrift store. They are crossed over at 5k for the tweeters.
All drivers are affected by temperature changes, but this will not cause harm to the drivers. These should work fine for this application as long as they are not in a place where strong winds or drafts can hit them.
