Product Details

FaitalPRO 10FE200 10" Professional Woofer 8 Ohm

The 10FE200 10" woofer from FaitalPRO features a high sensitivity of 96 dB (1W/1m), extremely flat frequency response from 50 to 4,500 Hz, and a shallow profile making it a natural choice for use as a large format midrange or midbass in multi-way professional speaker cabinets.

Good off-axis response and a mid-Qts rating of 0.7 allows the 10FE200 to be used in small and large-sized ported or sealed cabinets as a woofer. An 8 ohm impedance makes this version of the 10FE200 a great selection for high output home audio systems. Durability is insured by the treated paper cone and accordion surround. Made in Italy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for public addressI used this woofer on a pa system in a large conference room. I mounted them free air in the ceiling with metal grills purchased here as well. Vocals were very clear. I was going to use a 2 way speaker but after testing them in my work shop I decided a high frequency driver wasn't needed. I used The Behringer 24 channel mixer and the Crown XLi 2500 as well. This is a great all around speaker at a great price. The client couldn't be happier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent MidUsing this as a mid in an active 3 way. Crossed at 250Hz and 4.5K and isolated in its own about 1cu ft box. Huge sound, nice flat response. Crosses well to a B&C DE10 compression driver. I have EQ'ed a little BBC dip into the mid (-3dB@3K) just as a personal preference, but I do that with just about any 3 way speaker I have. 5 stars!Build thread here

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome MidI have been using this mid/midbass driver for over a year. I have four of these in my car on the front doors (2 per door). They are cut off at 100 Hz on the low end and 4 KHz on the high side. The 10fe200 plays extremely well within these limits, lower cutoff point will yield unsatisfactory sound (clarification, it will sound great at lower volumes). The door installation is technically a free air application as it is not in a designated sealed changer, however, they play phenomenally well.I had them connected to the base radio in my car and used the trebble-mid-bass to give the sound I wanted, prior to the installation of the full system; even this sounded great at low and high volumes. If you are looking for something that plays low, this is not the mid or midbass driver for you. However, if you are looking for a driver that will reproduce excellent 120 Hz - 4 kHz, then, This is the driver for you. There was a test performed between eminence delta 10 neo, PRV 10" and the 10fe200. The FR200 had a pronounced presence over the other in the midrange bandwidth.Whenever I play Celine Dion "it's all coming back to me", those high notes are so crystal clear you will have spectators lurking. My setup is fully tuned, so, I am not saying throw in the driver and go, even though unturned they sound awesome a heck.Attaching photos or videos are taking a really long time, will do so when I have a much better connection.

When measuring it is from screw hole to screw hole correct?

Asked by: Sandman1003
A speaker is measured across the whole frame diameter, not just the screw holes.

Is that a misprint on the sealed volume. the 4ohm version said 1.1ft3 sealed.

Asked by: spur31
Well, it is not a misprint. For the optimum sealed volume we use a target Qtc of 0.707 for consistency (which is technically optimum, but not necessarily best). This woofer has a high Qts of 0.7 which makes the "optimum" enclosure quite large (as the driver Qts approaches the target Qtc the enclosure volume approaches infinity). However, in a 1.3 cubic foot enclosure this driver will still perform quite well. The Qtc will be 0.9, which is still quite acceptable, and the F3 would be about 70 Hz (actually better low end than the 4 ohm version in the same size box). I hope that helps.
