Eminence PXB2:2K5CX 2-Way Speaker Crossover Board 2,500 Hz
Can I use this to replace blown crossover in jbl control 29 speakers. Running in 8 ohm not using transformer taps
Yes. The Control 29AV use a crossover at 2.5kHz at 3rd order. The Eminence Crossover is a 12dB per octave slope ( 2nd order) at 2.5KHz at 250Watts.

Can I use this to replace the x-over in an older Definitive Technology center speaker model CLR? It distorted badly until I only ran the woofer directly from the amp then no more distortion.
Unfortunately without knowing the original crossover points I cannot recommend a replacement. Anything off the shelf will change the sound of the speaker, you may consider trying to get the original repaired first.

Does anyone know if I can use this crossover for a cabinet containing a compression tweeter and two 15" woofers? My cabinet is the older Kustom 2X15 pa Cabinets KCS215. It's a 4ohm cabinet
Unfortunately this crossover is only designed to work with 8 ohm loads. You may want to consider part number 260-142 which has a jumper for 4 ohm woofer loads.

If I use an 8 ohm woofer and an 8 ohm horn driver, what is the load?
The crossover separates the drivers so it is a 8 ohm load overall.
