Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good product, work on YAMAHA S115V $ s225vI think the price is too much for a litle pie. It should not cost that much to build one but the sale price it over price. I would buy more if it price about $10.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best value for Replacement DiaphragmI know this diaphragm is for a specific driver, but if you have to replace your driver, I strongly recommend replacing it with the Eminence PSD:2002. JBL and B&C are, supposedly, the "best" horn drivers. Yessir, they sound great. But, when you're on a working musician's budget, these are not cost effective. The PSD:2002 allows you to replace the diaphragm after your drummer(I'm a drummer and I learned the hard way) unplugs a monitor or a main before you have a chance to power down. The speaker cable plug brushes up against the floor or a piece of metal(i.e. speaker stand, light pole, etc.) and you hear that God awful click and POP-Poof-There goes another diaphragm. Keep doing that with JBL's, and you'll probably have to sell your cabs or mortgage your house to stay afloat. I'm not knockin' JBL on quality. With the Eminence, your fumble fingered lead singer won't ruin the night because he held the mic to close to the monitor. If you pop the diaphragm, you can replace it easily. And, they're inexpensive enough to keep a few on hand for such occasions. Did I mention they sound great? These are the diaphragms that will fit the Yamaha Club III, IV, and V(I think) series speakers. They also fit older Carvin speakers (1584, 1588, TR1502, and TR1503). I own both brands and the horns sound great. Check your driver and diaphragm before you order to make sure you have the right one. Neither company will admit they are or were using Eminence because, I think, they want you to buy the replacement diaphragm from them. Check the magnet on the driver and there may be a sticker on the magnet that has an Ohm rating and a part number that includes the number 2002. These will work for that driver. Did I mention they are inexpensive?

Eminence PSD:2002-16DIA Diaphragm For PSD:2002 16 Ohm

My Carvin 1584 HF horn isn't working. Ohms check on the disconnected wire leads show infinity resistance but the diaphram windings looks fine. Is the diaphram bad?

Asked by: couldbememaybe
It is, yes. An open voice coil sometimes can only be identified by measuring its nominal resistance.

Is this a replacement for a Jay 20610 diaphragm? This is what I'm told is in my Yamaha S115IVS speakers.

Asked by: Auto45er
Yes this is the correct diaphragm for that driver.

Will this replace the driver on a Carvin HF1000 16 ohm?

I have bad horns in a set of Carvin 1232 floor monitors. Will this driver fit? All the back of the driver says is Carvin HF1000 16 ohms.
Asked by: prhladio
Unfortunately no this will not work as a replacement diaphragm. We do not have appropriate diaphragms for this driver, I would recommend something like the Selenium D220Ti as a replacement.
