Eminence LAB 12 Professional 12" Subwoofer Speaker
I see that the Bash 500s is one of the recommended amps. What external amp is recommended to drive this as a HT sub thats not an amp plate?
The SA1000 would be a good choice as a non-plate amp.http://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-sa1000-subwoofer-amplifier-rack-mountable--300-811

i have a SPA 250 amp. plate is this a good match with this LAB 12'' woofer?
The SPA250 will work but in order to get the most out of the 6 ohm woofer you will want something that is 500+ watts RMS.

I bought Eminence Lab12 a while back to build a 3cu ft sealed sub for music only. I've been looking at the Bash 300W and 500W as the amp... Will the Bash 300 work (it's significantly cheaper) ... or do I need the extra watts of the 500
I posted the question... the sub dimensions will be 1cu ft not 3 cu ft... sealed.

I built 4 vented enclosures at 2.6 cuft after port displacement. Port is 13.5x1.5 and 12" deep. There doing the job I need. Was just wondering was is this can tuned to. Was hoping to get into the low 30s
With that volume and port size the tuning frequency is 38 Hz.

Currently just built BFM tuba 30. what crossover does PE sell that would best serve this woofer.
There is no such thing as one crossover for all applications. The crossover needs to be determined based on many other factors, such as how low your main speakers can play safely and what will blend the best in the room.
