Eminence Kappa-12A 12" Driver 8 Ohm
I have an amplifier that delivers 500 watts rms at 4 ohms if I connect this amp to this wooffer, there is no risk of burning the amplifier or woffer since the woofer is 450 Rms thank you very much
There is always a risk of damaging the woofer regardless of power. 500 watts will be a good amount of power to drive this. If you watch excursion and respect the driver limits you will be fine.

hello good day what is the ideal amplifier for the woofer thank you very much
Due to the sensitivity of this woofer, I would say anything that produces 300 watts or more at 8 ohms will be sufficient. If you are looking to get the most from the woofer and are not worried about excursion, anything at its rated RMS power or higher will be ideal.

Will this replace the woofer for a Mackie srm450, will it fit 12.5"?
According to the 450's owner's manual online, the LF driver is NOT an odd-sized speaker. It is 12". The mounting hole should match. You do need to consider whether the available cabinet depth is sufficient for this replacement speaker, and I can't determine that without having the Mackie in hand. Also, most quality powered speakers have circuitry such as EQ, crossovers and limiters that optimize the internal amp to work well with a specific speaker. That circuitry may not work as well with a different speaker. You could do this DIY project, but I would first contact Mackie; I have found their support helpful and repair costs reasonable. Compare the factory repair cost to your DIY cost as a factor in your decision.
