Eminence ASD1001 1" HF Titanium Horn Driver 1-3/8"-18 TPI
Eminence ASD1001 1" HF Titanium Horn Driver 1-3/8"-18 TPI is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 40.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from best horn driver for the money, great at any priceI have used this horn for everything from stage monitors and front of house mains to High output home theater speakers and arrays. The work great in horns or wave guides and the take a beating. Do not let the 50 watt rating fool you most designs have to be padded way down to keep these things in line. I throw killowatts at mine all day long. They will blow if you feed them a rough signal but any driver will. Besides they are cheap enough to carry spares.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Horn DriverThese horn drivers from Eminence are clean, clear and handle a ton of power. I was rebuilding some cabs and looking for brightness and clarity on the high end that was not there. These drivers have proven to be not only a great match for the sound I was looking for from our PA but the price is fantastic for the quality delivered!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement horn drivers for Behringer B212XLReplacement diaphragms for blown 30 watt horn drivers in my 12" two-way Behringer mains were prohibitively expensive so I opted, instead, to replace them with these 50 watt Eminence drivers. The worked beautifully. These Eminence drivers are smaller, lighter, more powerful, sound better than the stock drivers and the complete driver costs less than replacement diaphragms for the OEM drivers. Gotta love 'em. Eminence rocks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Talk Box replacement driverI bought this unit to replace the driver in a heil talk box for guitar. The replacement driver for the talk box cost over $90 which is more than I paid for the talk box! The Eminence was the least expensive similarly rated driver with the specs I needed. It is a bit smaller than the original but the unit fit perfectly in the enclosure and thanks to the push tab lugs on the driver, it was up and running in just a few minutes! I have only used it a few times since I replaced the driver but so far I have had no problems. Sound quality is good and the price was excellent. I recommend the Eminence driver to anyone who needs to replace the driver in a talk box.Gtarczar

Will this driver replace the UC-1 driver on Community STS28's? Thanks in advance for your help!

Asked by: jrc2014
We do not have a direct cross reference for this unfortunately. If the community driver uses a threaded mount and has a crossover point of 2.5kHz (18dB/oct) or higher this will work fine as a replacement.

Can I use this horn driver on a JBL JRX115? Because the crossover that it has is 1.6 KHz and as per this driver recommends a crossover at 2.5 KHz.

Asked by: Miguel29
I would not recommend this driver for that crossover point. Our best seller for the JRX cabinets would be the Selenium D220Ti below.http://www.parts-express.com/selenium-d220ti-1-titanium-horn-driver-8-ohm-1-3-8-18--264-270

So I'm kinda of new to building, pa speakers. I have a cheap pair of peavey pvi10 speakers I use for acoustic gigs and house party's. I'd like to upgrade or practically build a new speaker using those boxes. What driver, woofer, xover should I use?
