Electroline EDA 2100 1-port RF/CATV Amplifier
Will the EDA2100 impede my internet speed? Comcast says I should be seeing 25Mbps, but speed test are showing only 15Mbps. Ran speed test with comcast tech online. Also, using a splitter 1 foot from wall outlet. One output to cable modem, one to TV.
Will this help with an 8 way spliter?
Can I put this inline before an 8 way splitter to help with signal loss? I'm starting to get some bad pixelation on a couple of televisions and cable company came out and installed a new line. Now they say the problem is signal loss because it's split 8 ways. Worked fine for the last 4 years, now all of a sudden it's not good enough.
Yes this will help with signal loss before a splitter like this.

Can more than one be used for a long cable run?
Separated by cable, not daisy chained. Comcast has one on the main cable in line, but my shop is 200 yds away and I am experiencing weak signal at the shop end. Not sure if two in line will produce some type of harmonic distortion or other freaky electronic situations that would be detrimental to the cable signal flow.
If the signal has degraded all you will be amplifying is the weak signal - you will most likely end up with something odd - no color, noise, etc... You need to contact your provider and have them run the appropriate feed with the right support gear.

Will the amplifier boost my cable internet connection?
No. I think you mean will it improve your download speed. It can't do that. You are dependent on the cable company and the speeds the sell in your area. DSL is sometimes an option - but fiber optics is the best choice for gaming - but it's only in limited areas
