Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very, very small for a solder-terminal switch......If space is an issue, this is the switch for you. However- the solder lugs are *very* small and close together, so you need a steady hand and a fine point when soldering...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Switch for Small LoadsThis switch works like its advertised. The max amperage rating is 5 for this unit, although the unit gets really warm at currents at or above this level and there is measurable voltage lost across it at these currents.

DPDT Mini Toggle Switch

is this a on on switch for guitar applications?

Asked by: jaywile
I don't know about guitar applications (if it fits, it should work), but if by "on on" you mean power is either going to one circuit or another, yes. Although you may be better served by a SPDT switch.DPDT means Double Pole, Double Throw. A single throw is like a light switch: on or off. Double throw means on-A or on-B, which sounds like what you're looking for.Double pole basically means having two switches connected to one lever. In this case, two double-pole switches, controlling a total of four "things." If you only have two things you want to control with this switch, you can probably save some money going with single pole. Of course, nothing says you have to wire up all those tabs -- you could use this as a simple on/off switch with room for expansion if you liked.
