Dayton Audio SWDC12 Dual 12" Subwoofer Cabinet Gray Vinyl
Will this box work with jl audio w1 v2 speakers? I've already got an amp from parts express years back. It's powering 4 jl audio w1 v2 12s now....Just wanting to slim down my home auto some from 4 12s to 2 12s and still keep some of that hard hitting bass
As long as the frames of the subwoofers fit the recess and cutout dimensions for the enclosure online those subs will work very well in this volume. You can expect in room response to reach the upper 20's relatively easily.

I have a question about the grey vinyl on the cabinet: Is it possibly to spray paint the vinyl a different color? Is it possible to veneer over the vinyl? If not, is it possibly to remove the vinyl or order the product without it? Thanks
I would not recommend trying to paint the vinyl, I think your best option would be a peal and stick type laminate over top of the existing veneer.

I would like to use the new Dayton Audio UM12-22 12" in a cabinet like this one. I know this cabinet will not work for a pair of these speakers. Will PE offer a cabinet like this one that is designed for 2 UM12-22 12" drivers in the future?
Unfortunately there are no immediate plans for this type of enclosure with the Ultimax woofers. Since the UM frames are larger than the reference frames, they will not fit this enclosure without modifications.

Will the Dayton Audio UM12-22 12" Ultimax DVC subwoofer work in this speaker cabinets?
We do not recommend using anything but the RSS315HFA-8 woofer in this cabinet. The frame sizes, depths and volumes required will not be ideal for the UM12-22.

one 12 and a PR?
Just wondering if you can use just one 12 and a 12 inch passive radiator? and if anyone has done it yet. Or would the performance be less if you done it this way? just wondering.
I suppose this would work assuming you found a 12" PR that would work with the driver displacement. This would be less efficient and have about 6 dB less overall output than the dual opposed design.

HO HF drivers
2 part question. Can't you wire two 4 ohm drivers and come up with a 4 ohm load?2nd question: Can you use an HF and a HO driver?
Unfortunately no you cannot wire two 4 ohm drivers back to 4 ohms. We also do not recommend using two different drivers in the same enclosure.
