Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Speaker Stands!!Arrived with floor pads missing. Contacted Parts Express and they sent out a complete set of the missing pads!! Assembly was easy. Better than the particle board speaker stands that sell for close to the same price. These are all metal stands. Stands were perfect for my Dayton Audio T652 speakers. Very happy with purchase! I love Parts Express. I have purchased other audio equipment from them including my Dayton Audio T652 Speakers and they always ship fast. Customer service is outstanding. Thanks Miranda!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The stand to buy at 24", + great customer serviceAppearance: These are good looking stands; I took some images as one on website do not show real finish. I was confused before buying them as they appear to be a little dusty looking. They are not; they looks good and finish is uniform. Its not glossy but for sure not as dull as it looks in image. Comes with spikes, floor mat and neoprene pads(which are just 3M bump on actually). These are heavy, my speakers are big (Wharfedale diamond 10.2) and they are placed firmly; no wobbling; (no testing on carpet though). I needed something around 24" in metal which can be filled with sand. (I did get the sand but found no need for now.) I considered Sanus steel foundation as well but they were double the price for 26" (these comes as 25" with spikes and pad). And the top plate was a little smaller in them.Backed by great customer support: The package was missing 4 floor pads, and one of the big tube could not be screwed due to a manufacturing fault. I contacted them and they sent just the floor mats first time. I got a survey asking to rate their support. I just wrote that my stands are still not finished due to the tube screw issue. Guess what they READ these surveys; I got a mail back and after one more call ...They shipped a single stand with screws; and asked me to keep the faulty one if I ever need to replace a part.Great experience dealing with them and very satisfied with the purchase I made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great StandsA great set of speaker stands. I am using these with a set of monitors built by Zalytron. The speakers walls are at least 1.5 inches think and weigh a ton. No issues at all. Through the years I have gone through many of the cheaper fiber wood stands. I wish these were available back in the day! No disappointments and easy to put together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stands at a great priceJust assembled my stands. They are for my large surround sound speakers. These stands are heavy, sturdy and well finished. They exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend them to others. I chose them over stands costing more than twice as much and am very satisfied. Only comment is similar to others - a couple of small assembly parts were missing from the open bag inside the taped-up box. Parts Express mailed replacements immediately. Just surprised that despite consistent comments (see other reviews) regarding this missing part issue, it still keeps happening. Can't they pack the small bits better???

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best low cost stand aroundI have assembled and sold many of these and can say that the stands are solid. The packaging is flimsy, but I've never had a missing part. The best thing I can advise on assembly of these is to loosely screw the top and bottom plates to the poles and then lay the stand on it's face applying downward pressure while tightening the screws. This assures a nice square fit.

Do you sell speaker stand spikes that will fit your Dayton Audio SSMB24 stands? Thanks.

We do not, the spikes on the stands are 3/8" thread, our spikes are all smaller M6 thread.

Is the top plate large enough to provide a stable base for a speaker such as a Polk Tsi 100?

Asked by: ganandalf
These stands will work well with those speakers, the top plate measures 6-5/8" x 8-1/4".

Since the "carpet spikes" don't seem to be spikey enough (based both on the reviews, and looking at them in the picture). Is there a Dayton spike kit that will fit the threads (assuming there are threads in the top cone thingy) in these stands? Thanks!

Asked by: Neoamor
I do not know what the thread size is on the stands, although I don't think the Dayton M6 spikes will fit. If you can verify the thread size on the stands as M6 the Daytons will work fine.

can these be shortened to 16-18 inches? sawing tubes down?

Asked by: mrgreg
The tubes have inserts on the ends to accept the bolts that hold them to the top and bottom plates, so cutting them shorter is not recommended.
