Dayton Audio Shadow Mount HD3260ARM Heavy-Duty Full-Motion TV Wall Mount 32"-60"
Would this work with a Vizio 50" LCD? I think the mounts for it are 800 x400.
Unfortunately this will only handle up to a 700mm width.

This item says "150lb". Does that mean a 100lb 70" is ok since it says 60" limit?
Yes. As long as the TV has a VESA mount size within the limits of the mount and is under the weight limit it will work fine.

Will this work with the Panasonic TC-P65VT60?
The TV is only 93 lbs and the mount is rated up to 150 lbs so weight shouldn't be an issue. I'm not sure what the width of the TV has to do with it, but I want to make sure that it will work for it.
This mount will support a TV with a VESA mount size up to 700mm x 400mm. Please check the manual for the TV and see if the VESA size falls within these dimensions.

Side to Side position on the wall
I really like this and want to put it on the wall but I'm worried about side-to-side position. The back in 19.5" wide and it needs two studs. That means it could only move a few inches left or right at most.I'm trying to think of a workaround, maybe mount a 33" piece of plywood on the wall to three studs then screw it into that.Any other ideas?I imagine that when it's about 1/2-way out, the TV would be movable left and right. But I wanted it to be centered when it is all the way back and all the way out.
It is best to mount direct to the studs when possible. There are some other alternatives though, such as the Toggler brand anchors that are rated for up to 265 pounds each.

Speed of Adjustment
How quickly can you adjust the left to right swivel? I like the idea of a being able to move the TV from a straight-on mounting location to a 45deg angle within a minute or so. What is involved in accomplishing this?
unless you lube the joints after putting it together you will struggle it takes so much effort im scared to tuch anymore good thing it where i like it but if i had to i would have someone help me
