Dayton Audio SAT-BK Satellite Speaker Pair Black
Why would one choose these rather than the B652 that are less expensive?
I bought them over the B-652 because they are shielded and smaller. Also, this speaker has a 2nd order high pass x-over on the tweeter, the woofer runs full range. I *believe* the B-652s only have a 1st order x-over on the tweeter, which simply isn't enough to combat tweeter distortion at frequencies near tweeter Fs. Moreover, both the B-652s and the SAT-BKs x-overs could be modified if one were so inclined, although at this price point, most are not so inclined.

Would the SAT-BK lend themselves to a similar mod as the B652 adding the amp and SD/USB interface?
These are awesome speakers just as they are. I run them as-is for the fronts for my bedroom system with very pleasing results.

Are These Speakers Shielded so that they are safe to use near a Display?
Yes, these are indeed magnetically shielded. Be aware that usual flat screen LED displays are not bothered by magnetic fields, only CRTs are.

Which speaker connection would be better for these speakers, Banana Plugs or Spade connectors?
Spade...Banana is too much bulk.

Would the part number 275-025 be a suitable tweeter upgrade for this speaker if I could make it fit?
Technically it will work as a replacement tweeter but there will likely need to be heavy modifications required to get it to mount.
