Dayton Audio RS75T-8 3" Reference Full-Range Driver Truncated Frame
Can I get this speaker without the truncated outside?i couldn't seem to fine the RS75-8 with the round outside. Thanks
Unfortunately the round frame version of this is only available in 4 ohms.

These phase plugs are not designed to be removed.

As you know, most 8" woofers don't come up high enough to pair with most tweeters in a 2-way set-up. Do you think that this unit would be suitable as a midrange/tweeter in a 2-way system?
This will certainly work well with a larger woofer, although the top octave will still be slightly limited, especially if listened to off axis. You may have to add a small diameter tweeter to help above 8kHz, but this will ultimately be determined by listening texts.

Is the listed enclosure size (0.02 ft.³ sealed, and 0.05 ft.³ vented) total volume, or would I have to compensate for driver displacement and make them larger?
The volumes given are total volume and do not require the driver displacement to be added to them.
