Dayton Audio RPH16 16" Round PA Horn Pair

Affordable, durable horns for demanding sound reinforcement applications. The re-entrant style horn flare design provides an expansion path that is longer than conventional straight horns; this ensures that the lowest possible frequency response can be achieved. The Dayton Audio RPH-16 PA horns are formed from lightweight aluminum and painted with a durable polyester finish, so you know that they will survive years of exposure to sun and rain. Great for indoor or outdoor applications, sturdy mounting yoke for precise alignment included. Standard 1-3/8"-18 threaded throat; 16" mouth diameter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Nice Horn, But....This horn works great at very reasonable price. My concern is the plastic pieces used for holding to mounting bracket and adjusting position. Being plastic, I would think, using outdoors, that Ultra Violet from Sun rays would cause any exposed parts to deteriorate over time. Anyone have this to be a problem? Would be nice if they were cast Zinc or Aluminum.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW!!!I really love the sound and coverage these Dayton 16" horns provide. They are a perfect match for their Dayton driver. They were very easy to build and can see I'm going to receive many, many, years of quality service from them. For awesome clarity, throw, coverage, and power, with the Dayton matching driver, it is definitely money well spent. I will definitely use these Dayton horns and drivers for future applications. Highly recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A fair substitute for the real thingWish I could still get the old ice-cream cones. The larger re-entrant is better but still not a patch on the 'old school' cone horn. Good value, compact and light.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great install hornwe purchused 20 of these horns 3 years ago for a lrage horse farm in new england and found them to work great we used atlas pd 30t drivers tapped a 7.5 watts each and our client was extremely happy we were even written up in the local horseshow news.for an outstanding public address system for a horse show. the only downfall is these horns should be a a havier guage metal. they will not stand up for temporary use or rental my personal favrote for that is atlas cj 46 horns with pd30t or pd60t drivers

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A bit tricky to assembleOverall this horn is a good value for permanent installs.I have not used them for temporary installs but gut hunch tells me they won't stand up well to being repeatedly being put up, taken down and generally knocked around. It is a bit tricky to attach the mounting yoke to the horn body. The included yoke bolts could be a little longer, making it easier to get the nut started on the bolt. As it is, they are JUST long enough, requiring a bit of finagling to get the nut started.I put six of these horns together, by the time I got to the last one I had the hang of it.The next time I need 16" round horns for permanent installation, I'll be buying more of these horns. I'll also buy some longer bolts, unless they start including longer bolts with the horn.

Dayton Audio RPH16 16" Round PA Horn Pair

How many watts are these? I have a 100 watt amp driving these and want outside LOUD music. My closest neighbor is 5 miles away and He likes Rock too :) Will this work in my application? Thanks

Asked by: johnny300
These are only PA horns and have no power. Add the horn driver 300-190 and at 70volts you can tap them up to 75 watts.
