Dayton Audio HTS-1200B Home Theater Speaker System Black
Do these accept adjustable speaker stands that screw in at the bottom of the speaker?
These do not have provisions for bottom mounting but they can be used with stands that screw into the back of the speaker.

Do these come in white or can I paint them?
These are only available in black. You could paint them, but I would recommend removing the grills to paint, and masking off the front of the speaker for protect the drivers.

Is the grill on these speakers removable? Will I accomplish better audio using 16 or 14 gauge wire instead of the 22 gauge?
The grill is glued in place so removing it will likely cause damage to the grill. A thicker wire gauge will not be beneficial in terms of audio quality. It may be beneficial if you have longer runs to the speakers, although there is no reason to use anything bigger than 16 gauge. Even 18 will be perfectly suitable for most applications.

I have a receiver that delivers 90 watts rms per channel.. Will these speakers be able to handle that? Do I just have to keep the volume down?
The receiver should either have a large/small speaker setting or a high pass filter to block low frequencies to the main speakers. You want the filter set around 100 Hz or the main speakers set to "small" in order to not over power them.

Why would the center channel cut out after a few minutes?
Works for the first couple minutes of a movie, and then goes "flat" like the tweeter has a sock stuffed in it. I've checked, and did not find any socks in the speaker...I have the speakers connected to a Yamaha V800 reciever. I've tried an Advent Heritage as a center channel test, and it worked fine. Any thoughts? anyone?
It sounds to me like you received a defective center channel speaker, and I certainly apologize for that. Please contact us at 1-800-338-0531 or firstname.lastname@example.org so we can arrange to get a replacement sent out at no cost to you.
