Dayton Audio DSS3-BK Black Speaker Spike Set 4 Pcs.
What is the length of the threaded shaft? I plan to use these spikes on 1/8" thick aluminum bar outrigger I made for my RTi8s. I plan to tap the aluminum bar with M6 thread and use a bolt on the top of the shaft for more support. Good idea?
The threaded shaft on these spikes is 3/8" long. I think your idea will work well.

If the spikes are screw in all the way and used without the floor discs, what is their height?
Overall spike height without disc is 1-1/8".

Which thread do these spikes have?
I have some Klipsch F-2 towers that include 1/4-20 thread inserts at the feet, so I'm looking for spikes that have the 1/4-20 screw thread. Could you confirm what these have?(FYI it is easy to confirm they are 1/4-20 because this is the standard thread used for camera tripods- try to screw one of these into the bottom of a digital camera, and if it threads in easily, it's 1/4-20)Thanks
Our speaker spikes have M6 (6mm) threaded shafts, not 1/4".
