Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value And Quality! These are great value and great quality and look great with the Dayton Audio Binding Post Plates! The ends don't screw all the way off so they can't be used with ring type connectors only fork. I prefer to use banana plugs anyway.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good binding postI bought these Dayton posts to replace the WBT 0763 posts, which has become too expensive to continue to use in our products. The Dayton posts are obviously a copy of the WBT (with slight cosmetic differences) and work almost as well. Their fit and finish are obviously inferior to WBT. But they function adequately and are vastly less expensive than the WBT. If you need a good quality, full-featured binding post at a reasonable price, then you cannot beat this unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Binding post !!Dayton Audio BPP-G Premium Binding Post Pair GoldGreat Value for the price paid. Compared to the esoteric brands out there, I would have had to pay 10-12X the money before I would get an incremental value for the difference in price. Much better quality than expected, thanks would easily recommend to a friend.

Dayton Audio BPP-G Premium Binding Post Pair Gold

what size are the nuts that hold these in place? (What is the thread size, for instance "1/4 -20") Is there a standard for binding post hardware? Are extra matching nuts and washers available? thanks

Asked by: tonedead
Unfortunately the thread and nut size is not something the manufacturer provides for these binding posts and there is no standard. The washers an nuts are not available separately.

Are these binding posts long enough to clear 3/4" MDF? I didn't see any mention of the length. Thanks.

Asked by: Slo Moe
Yes these will fit through 3/4" material, the threads are 25mm (1") long.

Spades on the amplifier cable?

Can I use amplifier-to-speaker cables terminated in spade lugs to connect to these binding posts? If yes, what inner opening diameter is needed for the spade lugs?
Asked by: tcpip
Yes spades can be used with these. The ID would need to be 5/16".

Will these work with existing binding posts

My old KLH-6 speakers have twist-down binding posts. I'd like to get a high-quality solution that will allow me to use banana plugs. So I'd like to remove the nuts from my speakers' binding posts and screw the end part of the assembly of this product to the KLH's binding posts. Will this work?
Asked by: Swampy
These are pretty large binding posts that require a hole that is 11/32" in diameter for mounting. There may be modifications required for this but I see no reason they will not work.
