Crossover PC Board 3-Way 12 dB Small 4" x 7"
Crossover PC Board 3-Way 12 dB Small 4" x 7" is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good!I bought a bunch of used BIC Venturi v52 2-way speakers for a song on Ebay, for having fun with speaker design using Omnimic, and trying my hand at building a crossover. The stock crossover was only a capacitor on the tweeter. I replaced the stock tweeter with one I purchased from Parts Express made by Tang Band (Tang Band 28-847SD).The attached photo represents my first attempt and I just used an online crossover calculator to make a LR 4th order crossover at 2k Hz.. I saw these boards, and thought they would work for anything from 2nd to 4th order xovers. Here is the bones of the 4th order crossover without lpad that I used one of these boards for which I was able to do without drilling the board using one 3-way connector. And what do you know, it worked!!! I ran Omnimic, and the resulting curve was atrocious, but still better than stock. I'm waiting on my next order from Parts Express to build a crossover utilizing Omnimic and the crossover design program most graciously posted by Jeff Bagby which will be second order Butterworth replete with L-pad.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what I expected...read my review please...This is not a real etched pc board! The board itself is made of a waferboard, or plastic material with very thin aluminum channels. Would have been nice to state that in the specifications. Sorry Parts Express, not impressed. Other than that, I rated it better than none because it would work good for a theory project for novices and beginners. Would not use for high power either way. I'll take a loss and etch my own next design. I'm still pleased with other PE products by the way.
